TEMPORAL POP REALISM

Temporal Pop Realism interrogates the collision of time, culture, and perception, where cinematic stills, pop ephemera, and archetypal gestures are extracted from their origin points and transfigured into painterly relics. Each work in this series recontextualizes a fleeting visual, whether from Hollywood spectacle, meme vernacular, or television detritus, into the realm of the eternal, as though canonized within the grand halls of art history. The result is a meditation on how contemporary culture rewrites itself: a simultaneity of the sacred and the disposable, rendered in strokes of irony and reverence.
